What is your role at Ashford Castle?
My job title is Breakfast Hostess but my role is to always make our guests feel welcome.
What was your first experience of Ashford Castle?
My husband to be brought me for a stroll around the grounds on a fine summer's day.
What were your thoughts when you saw the Castle for the first time after the restoration?
Wow! Ashford Castle is reborn.

Pierce Brosnan filmed an episode of Remington Steele in the Castle.
What makes Ashford so special?
Working in Ashford is like being part of a big family.
What does a typical day at Ashford look like for you?
Every day gives me a fresh opportunity to connect with the guests and make them feel very special.
What is your favourite part of your role?
Giving the guests a warm Irish welcome and making them feel at home.
What do you do to relax when you are not working?
Facetime my two daughters, who are both overseas.
What three words would you use to describe Ashford?
Idyllic, welcoming, unforgettable.
What is your proudest achievement of your time at Ashford Castle?
Being presented with the Guest Favourite Award at the Staff Appreciation Party in London. What a night!
