With a British Chef and Maître d’Hôtel, The English Grill is quintessentially authentic English, using some of the finest produce from the British Isles. The restaurant showcases traditional service by friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the dining experience is accompanied by an extensive wine list, including a fine selection from Bouchard Finlayson, our vineyard in South Africa.
The menu offers signatures classics, including salads, steaks, desserts and dishes from our Founder and President, Mrs Beatrice Tollman, and all meats are grilled to perfection in our charcoal fired Josper Grill. The glass wall overlooking the pass allows guests to watch some of the action taking place in the kitchen.

We are delighted to bring the exceptional flavours from Cullen's at the Cottage to your home, for a limited time only. This exclusive takeaway menu, created by Ashford Castle's Executive Chef Philippe Farineau and his talented team, features standout dishes such as Innishboffin crab arancini, our delicious signature dish 'chicken Peri Peri', slow-roasted in our rotisserie oven, red wine braised short rib, and a selection of local cheeses.
On Saturdays only, our famous seafood platter will be available - the freshest selection of Irish seafood served cold, including a lobster, langoustines, shrimp, crab claws and mussels.
The takeaway menu also includes a choice of outstanding wines and an excellent selection of options for children.
