The Prince of Wales Bar

Named in honour of the Prince of Wales, who visited the bar in 1905 and later ascended to the throne as George V of England, The Prince of Wales Bar holds a special place in history. Built in the late 1800s, the bar is reminiscent of its captivating past, with its opulent fabrics, fine wood panelling, traditional furnishings and original fireplace creating a warm and welcoming ambience. With a full selection of cocktails, liqueurs and brandies, our experienced bar team also offer private whiskey and gin tasting experiences from 12pm to 5pm in The Prince of Wales Bar or from 6pm to 8pm in The Billiards Room.

Craft gin tasting

Learn the secrets of the trade as you taste select craft gins from distilleries around the world, including the Gunpowder Irish Gin. You'll have the opportunity to craft your own miniature gin, using gin botanicals, which you will be able to take home.

Suitable for groups of up to 10 people. Gin tastings can be booked daily, subject to availability.
